CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara and Intensify Me Eyeliner

(CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara and Intensify Me Eyeliner were sent for review)
I have CoverGirl’s new Super Sizer Mascara and Intensify Me Eyeliner to review today.  I receieved the Super Sizer Mascara in Very Black.  I also received the Intensify Me Eyeliner in Intense Black.  My favorite mascara is one by CoverGirl so I was very excited to try out some of their new products.

Let me start by talking about the Super Sizer Mascara.  This mascara has a very nice opaque black color.  The brush is thin with a unique shape.  The mascara lengthens, darkens, and separates lashes very well.  The thin brush size also makes it easy to apply mascara to your bottom lashes.
The Intensify Me Eyeliner is also unique.  The tip is paddle-shaped which allows you to create either thick or thin lines depending on how you hold the pencil.  This black is also opaque, glides on pretty effortlessly, and lasts all day.  I added this eyeliner to my upper and lower lash lines.  When applying this eyeliner to my lower lash line I kept touching my eyeball and the eyeliner spread like a water color.  It did not irritate my eyes, but I did definitely have an easier time applying to my upper lash line which I usually have a harder time with.

I really like both of these products.  My favorite part of the Super Sizer Mascara is the separation it gives my lashes.  My favorite part of the Intensify Me Eyeliner is that you get a dark black line without having to sharpen a pencil or dip it into anything—the tip moistens itself with eyeliner.  CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara comes in Black Brown, Black, and Very Black.  There is also a waterproof version in Very Black.  CoverGirl Intensify Me Eyeliner comes in Intense Black.  I have seen a combo pack at Wal-Mart that has the CoverGirl Super Sizer Mascara in Very Black and CoverGirl Intensify Me Eyeliner in Intense Black for $9.98.

31 Day Challenge- Day 31: Re-Create your Favorite Challenge

Day 31 of the 31 Day Challenge calls for Re-Creating your Favorite Challenge.  It was hard to choose just one challenge to re-create.  I had a really good time with this challenge.  In the end I decided to re-create my Day 13:Animal Print nails with just a few changes.

I started with Sinful Colors Basecoat then added L.A. Colors American Manicure.  I free-handed some French tips with Pure Ice Platinum Magic Base Coat.
I took my dotting tool and Maybelline Bold Gold and added gold spots to one side of my nails.

After my gold polish was dry, I took the smaller end of my dotting tool and Salon Express Nail Art Paint in Black and outlined the gold spots.  I also added a few black spots.

I let my polish dry completely then added Poshé super-fast drying top coat.  I love these nails.  I think it is a fun and easy design.

31 Day Challenge- Day 30: Inspired by a Tutorial

Day 30 of the 31 Day Challenge calls for Nails Inspired by a Tutorial.  I chose to recreate Cutepolish’s popcorn nails.  Cutepolish is one of my favorite YouTubers.  I have wanted to recreate these nails for the longest time.  One of the great things about the 31 Day Challenge is you can get around to doing things you may have been putting off.

I started with Sinful Colors Basecoat then used Nailene Perfect Pedicure French Polish Guides to tape off the tips of my nails—leaving more of a tip on my ring finger like suggested in the video.  I then added French tips using Pure Ice Platinum Magic Base Coat.  When that was dry I peeled off the French Polish Guides.
Next I mixed Julep Daisy and Pure Ice Platinum Magic Base Coat to create light yellow.  I did this on my Dollar Tree craft & activity mat (I will have a post about it soon).  I took my dotting tool and dotted on a pile of popcorn above my ring finger French tips.  I added Nicole by O.P.I. Better After Dark with my dotting tool and pushed the dots to make more of a crescent shape.  I then added Julep Daisy with my dotting tool for some butter.  I then took my dotting tool and Sinful Colors No Text Red! to add a red line over the white tips of my nails.  For my ring fingers I added two horizontal red lines and a few vertical red lines to create a classic popcorn container.  I finished off with Poshé super-fast drying top coat.

I am so happy I finally recreated this look.  I love the way if came out!  It was fun and simple to do.  I love doing French tip nails with a twist.  These are perfect nails for a movie night/marathon.

31 Day Challenge- Day 29: Inspired by the Supernatural

Day 29 of the 31 Day Challenge calls for Nails Inspired by the Supernatural.  I had a few ideas and decided to go with unicorn nails.  I started with Sinful Colors Basecoat then added Catrice Wrapped Around My Finger.

When that was dry, I added China Glaze Fairy Dust.  I let that dry then stamped on my unicorns using Pure Ice Outrageous and Mash-39 stamping plate.  I toped it all off with Poshé super-fast drying top coat.

I adore these nails.  The pink, the glitter, the unicorn—what’s not to love?  They remind me of My Little Pony.  These were pretty nails that I loved looking at.  The glitter is awesome in the sun.

31 Day Challenge- Day 28: Inspired by a Flag

Day 28 of the 31 Day Challenge calls for Nails Inspired by a Flag.  I chose New Mexico’s state flag.  I started with my base coat then added Julep Daisy.

When that was dry I got a nail art brush and Sinful Colors No Text Red! to draw on the Zia symbol of the flag.

After my red polish was dry I added a top coat to seal in my design.  I tend to shy away from using nail art brushes, but I really should practice with them more.  The red and yellow really stand out.  I love the way these nails came out.

31 Day Challenge- Day 27: Inspired by Artwork

Day 27 of the 31 Day Challenge calls for Nails Inspired Artwork.  I chose Angels by Raphael.  I started with my base coat then added the light gold polish (Step 1) from my Kiss Gradation Kit.  I let that dry then added Sinful Colors Coffee by dabbing it on with plastic wrap.
Initially I decided to make the angels stamping decals.  I used Salon Express Nail Art Paint Black and MoYou London Artist Collection-10 stamping plate.  After the black polish dried on my stampers, I filled in the angels with three coats of Revlon Sheer Snowflake Pink.  When that was dry, I added my top coat to the decals.  I had two issues with my decals.  First, some of my decals were not coming up completely when I tried taking them off of my stampers.  Second, I did get a few decals to come up nicely but they were not sticking to my nails.

I decided to scrap the decals and simply stamp the angels onto my nails.  This worked out so much better and took less time.
These nails came out nice.  I had to move to plan B, but I am still happy with the results.  It is such a lovely piece of art and MoYou London helped me recreate it on my nails.
